I’m usually swimming in great places to submit—more places than I can write for, anyway. For 2025, I’m going to share a few of them every month. None of these charge fees (according to the information I have), and all should be open for submissions at least through the end of the month.

One more for young people: “The Fountain Pen is a student-run creative writing magazine featuring any and all forms of creative writing.”
Soul Poetry
Editor Arvilla Fee says: “While the summer issue is not themed, I would like to see work that is somehow "related" to the summer season: hot, dry, vacations, travel, butterflies, bees, birds, oceans, sports ... you get the idea.”
Killer Nashville Magazine
